The team

John joined Moffatts shortly after qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1986. He became a partner in 1996 and deals with clients in various sectors, at various stages of development, every single day. During this time, he has acquired specialist knowledge of the construction industry scheme (CIS) and has had a lot success in dealing with status tax enquiries.

Tanya is the youngest of the partners and brings a fresh, innovative approach. She qualified as a chartered certified accountant in 2000 and as a chartered tax adviser in 2003. She’s involved with everyone from sole traders to larger owner-managed family businesses. Tanya also supports one-person consultancy companies and knows IR35 like the back of her hand.

Masaud qualified as a chartered certified accountant in 2003. He has 20 years’ experience of working in practice. His great passion is implementing new accounting systems, tailoring them to work perfectly for each client. He’s also an expert adviser on new businesses, innovative startups and business development.

David joined Moffatts in the summer of 2014, bringing over 16 years of previous experience working in practice. He became ACCA qualified in April 2016 and works mainly in accounts and audit. He brings new clients into the practice and advises on tax and compliance areas with an aim to grow this role. He has set himself a new challenge of running a half marathon, and spends his spare time in Abersoch.

Annalise has been with Moffatts since the summer of 2013 and studied on the job, becoming ACCA qualified in January 2018. She has gained experience in many areas of practice including, accounts, payroll and VAT. She is always looking for ways to further her experience and may look into becoming a Chartered Tax Advisor. Although she sees a future in accountancy, she is still holding out for her dream job of professional panda cuddling.

Lindsey qualified with the ACCA in summer 2015. She has experience in payroll and accounts production but specialises in the VAT department, where she is now VAT manager. She enjoys her role almost as much as she enjoys traveling to Europe for weekends with her group of friends.
